SILCHAR: Three members of the Dima National Democratic Front ( DNDF ), including its chairman, have surrendered before the administration at a ceremony in Haflong, the district headquarters.
The outfit's self-styled chairman' E M Dimasa alias Bidyalal Sanguing, who was a former Congress functionary, second lieutenant' Friendly Dimasa alias Monet Langthasa and lieutenant' Lampu Dimasa alias Prasenjit Haflongbar surrendered before the deputy commissioner (Dima Hasao) Dilip Borthakur on Wednesday. The militants handed over a few arms and ammunition to authorities.
